Keeping you and/or your loved one safe is a top priority in all of our Phoebe communities. Each community has a written disaster/emergency plan that you can review at any time, upon request. Rest assured that our policies are comprehensive and include how to handle everything from a power outage to a hurricane.

Our staff receives ongoing education on our disaster plan and training in specific emergency situations. Should an emergency arise, you and/or your loved one will be in good hands.

In the event of a disaster or other emergency, please follow the instructions of emergency personnel and staff in your community. In many cases, the safest place for a resident to await instructions is within your room/residence.

If you would like to learn more, please contact the Manager/Administrator of you and/or your loved one’s community.

In the event of an emergency, communities may communicate in various ways, including the following:

  • Cell Phones
  • Email
  • Social Media
  • Status updates through local news stations and public broadcasting stations
  • Press releases
  • Town Hall meetings
  • Informational signs on exterior doors to communicate relocation site details if needed
  • A communication hotline
  • Use of video conferencing and communications – i.e. Zoom Video meetings
